Vietnam Trade Reaches USD 306 Billion in 8 Months – On Track for a New Record in 2025

After 8 months of 2025, Vietnam’s import–export activities continue to post remarkable growth. According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the country’s total trade turnover has reached USD 306 billion, up 14.8% YoY. • Industrial production: August rose by 8.9%, bringing the 8-month increase to 8.5%; manufacturing grew nearly 10%, remaining the main driver.
• Exports in August: Estimated at USD 31.5 billion, up ~0.6% MoM and 11.2% YoY.
• Exports to the US: Despite a slight MoM decline in August (~5%), the 8-month cumulative value still surged 17.3% YoY, reaffirming the US as a top destination.
• Total trade in August: Around USD 63 billion, showing steady growth.
