Vietnam’s Tuna Export Reaches USD 705 Million – Global Demand Rises Across 100 Markets

According to updated data, Vietnam’s tuna exports reached approximately USD 705 million in the first 9 months of 2025. While the export value saw a slight decrease of around 3%, the industry is demonstrating positive momentum with strong market diversification and rising demand from new import destinations.

Besides key markets such as the US, EU, Japan, Vietnamese tuna is growing strongly in Southeast Asia, CPTPP countries and Africa.

Thailand recorded an impressive 83% increase in imports, reaching nearly USD 28 million.
